Asolo Equipment Advantage 20-Degree Fahrenheit Down and Synthetic Filled Rectangular Sleeping Bag (Red)

Asolo Equipment Advantage 20-Degree Fahrenheit Down and Synthetic Filled Rectangular Sleeping Bag (Red) Review

Asolo Equipment Advantage 20-Degree Fahrenheit Down and Synthetic Filled Rectangular Sleeping Bag (Red) Feature

  • Top Layer: 650 fill Down. Bottom Layer: Quadratherm Plus synthetic insulation
  • New ultra-plush and quiet shell and liner rip-stop fabrics.
  • 4.73lbs total weight: Dimensions: 75"L X 33"W
  • Thermal collar, draft tube and inside velcro pocket for a night light or essentials
  • Compression stuff sack
The Asolo Advantage sleeping bag combines the best of both world for insulation. We use 650 fill down on the top layer of the sleeping bag and our own Quadratherm Plus synthetic insulation on the bottom layer that you sleep on. Reason? First, down, when compressed, does not perform as well as a synthetic. Second, if the bag gets damp, it will not lose all of its thermal properties. Finally, by using both materials for insulation, you get a lighter, warmer, and more compactible bag overall than a full synthetic bag without paying the premium price for a full down filled bag

About Sierra Designs
Sierra Designs has been one of the most renowned outdoor brands in the industry since 1965. Not only are Sierra's products reliable enough to help thrill seekers like Eric Larsen summit Mt. Everest and journey to both the North and South Poles, but they promote a harmonious relationship with the environment we play in as well. The editors of Outside Magazine, National Geographic, and Backpacker Magazine have all presented Sierra with numerous gear awards. Sierra is headquartered in Boulder, Colorado. We challenge traditional thinking by incorporating partial Flex construction into these bags, making them more comfortable and more thermally efficient. Ergonomically shaped foot boxes and ultralight foot box venting may seem like subtle details, until you climb on in – and experience the most comfortable sleep you’ve ever had in the backcountry.
